The primary objective of implementing a Public Online Reservation System in public transport is to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and convenience of the transportation system for both passengers and service providers. The specific goals include:

Name of Project Passenger Audio Announcement System
The primary objective of implementing a Passengers Announcement System at bus stands is to;
  1. Timely and Accurate Information: Provide passengers with timely and accurate information regarding bus arrivals, departures, delays, and other relevant updates to reduce uncertainty and social messages for advocacy for passengers
  2. Emergency Notifications: Implement a system capable of conveying emergency notifications, ensuring the safety of passengers during unforeseen events, and providing clear instructions on necessary actions to be taken.
  3. Promotion of Public Transport: Utilize the announcement system to convey information about the benefits of public transport, promotions, or relevant campaigns, encouraging more individuals to choose RSRTC buses 
Key Features
  1.  The announcement system has been operated since 2015 to inform passengers about the arrival and departure of buses.
  2.  43 bus stands are covered under this project
  3.  149 IVRS-based bus inquiry system is implemented for passengers which reduces human intervention.
  4.  RSRTC also gets non-operational revenue from this project.
Name of Project Vehicle Tracking & Passengers Information System

  1. Real-time Location Monitoring: Vehicle tracking devices provide real-time information about the exact location of RSRTC Buses. Passengers can use mobile apps to track the arrival times and locations of buses. This improves the accuracy of scheduling and reduces passenger waiting times. 
  2. Improved Safety: Tracking devices enable RSRTC to monitor vehicle speed, route adherence, and driver behavior in real-time. This helps in ensuring that drivers follow safety guidelines and traffic rules, reducing the likelihood of accidents.

Key Features To increase digital payments in buses, all major payment aggregators i.e. BillDesk, PhonePe and Pay10 have tied up with RSRTC. Also, we have reduced the cash inside the buses after implementing the Dynamic QR code on the ETM machine.
Name of Project Third Party API Ticket Booking Partners
Key Features RSRTC has tied up with all the leading e-commerce platforms i.e. MakeMyTrip, Redbus, Paytm, Abhibus, ApniBus and Maventech to increase its reach to the passengers of its own state as well as passengers of other states and with the successful integration, lucrative amount is being deposit on daily basis.
