Driving Licence Fees

[Under Rule 32 of CMV Rules, 1989]

Renewal of driving licence

9.

Renewal of a driving licence for which application is made after the grace period

Three hundred rupees.

Note:- Additional fee at the rate of one Thousand rupees for delay of each year or part thereof reckoned from the date of expiry of the grace period shall be levied.

Issue or renewal of  licence to a school or establishment for imparting instructions in driving.

 

Ten thousand rupees

11.

Issue of duplicate licence to a school or establishment for imparting instructions in driving.

 

Five thousand rupees

12.

An appeal against the orders of licencing authority referred to in rule 29.

 

Five hundred  rupees

13. Any application for change in address or any other particulars recorded in the driving licence e.g. address etc

Two Hundred rupees

 

Note:

1. Where a Smartcard Type driving licence is issued in Form 7,an additional fee of two hundred rupees shall be levied.

2. The fees specified at serial numbers 1,2 and 3 of the Table above shall be paid collectively at the time of submission of application for issue of learner's licence or driving licence or for endorsement of another class of vehicle, as the case may be.

Conductor’s Licence Fee [Under sec 30 (5) of MV ACT, 1988]

The Fee for a conductor’s licence and for each renewal there of shall be one-half of that for a driving license.
