Driving Licence Fees

[Under Rule 32 of CMV Rules, 1989]

1.	Issue of learner’s licence in Form 3 for each class of vehicle	One Hundred and Fifty rupees
2.	Learner's Licence test fees or repeat test fee as the case may be	Fifty rupees
3.	For test or repeat test, as the case may be of competence to drive (for each class of vehicle)	Three hundred rupees
4.	Issue of a driving licence	Two hundred rupees
5.	Issue of International Driving Permit	One Thousand rupees
6.	Addition of another class of vehicle to driving licence	Five hundred rupees
7.	Endorsement or renewal of authorization for Vehicle carring Hazardous Goods	One Hundred rupees
8.	Renewal of driving licence	Two hundred rupees
9.	Renewal of a driving licence for which application is made after the grace period	Three hundred rupees. Note:- Additional fee at the rate of one Thousand rupees for delay of each year or part thereof reckoned from the date of expiry of the grace period shall be levied.
10.	Issue or renewal of licence to a school or establishment for imparting instructions in driving.	Ten thousand rupees
11.	Issue of duplicate licence to a school or establishment for imparting instructions in driving.	Five thousand rupees
12.	An appeal against the orders of licencing authority referred to in rule 29.	Five hundred rupees
13.	Any application for change in address or any other particulars recorded in the driving licence e.g. address etc	Two Hundred rupees

Note:

1. Where a Smartcard Type driving licence is issued in Form 7,an additional fee of two hundred rupees shall be levied.

2. The fees specified at serial numbers 1,2 and 3 of the Table above shall be paid collectively at the time of submission of application for issue of learner's licence or driving licence or for endorsement of another class of vehicle, as the case may be.

[Under Rule 2.29 of RMV Rules, 1990]

Conductor’s Licence Fee [Under sec 30 (5) of MV ACT, 1988]

The Fee for a conductor’s licence and for each renewal there of shall be one-half of that for a driving license.
